Every year, Houston Turkish Festival brings a wide variety of musicians and entertainers to Houston. Whether you're into rock, pop, tradiational Turkish Music or Oriental Dances there's an event for you.
According to many culinary experts, Turkish food is considered to be among the top three greatest cuisines in the world along with French and Chinese. Some may agree with the French and Chinese but find the Turkish one debatable.
After busy and fun filled Saturday, join us for grand finale with DJ Diyojen/ Sirri Oguz.
Cultural events include lectures on a wide variety of topics from history of Sufism and Rumi to Christian sites of Turkey, from ecological and biological treasures of Turkey to its economic role in the Eurasia region, and concerts of various artists. These lectures are typically done at our annual festival, or other special occasions such as the Turkey Day organized by the Houston World Affairs Council for area high school teachers.
