 Tansu Tumer ft. Gabriel Bata

Tansu picked up his instrument at the age of 14. As a totally self-taught player; he sharpened his skills by playing with many local bands throughout his teen years. Although he quit playing for about 2 years while majoring in political science, it didn't take long for him to realize that he has the heart of an artist. Therefore, together with his longtime friend Ozan Eren, they formed the band "ikinci perde" and worked on original music that has a very distinctive sound.

At the end of 2009, Tansu moved from his homeland Turkey to USA to pursue his dreams in music and started a new life. After a long period of struggle and hard times, he started to emerge as one of the most respected bassists in Houston. At the mere age of 26, he is now counting the days for his debut album to be released in October 2011.
